The Development Director is assisted by a Development Associate.Biography I am proud to say that I have the sole distinction of being the senior faculty/staff person at Crane Country Day School. It is hard to believe that July 2006 marks my 30th year!I have taught First Grade and Second Grade, was Head of Lower School, and now am entering my sixteenth year as Crane’s Director of Admission. I have also been a Crane parent for the past twelve years.I grew up in Orange County and found my way to Santa Barbara by way of attending UCSB for both my BA and my teaching credential. After graduating, I was determined to stay in this beautiful city. For seven years, my husband and I struggled to make it work, and boy are we glad we persevered! No matter what my role has been at Crane, I have always cherished the students, parents, and especially the collegiality of my fellow faculty and staff members. It is a very special environment to be in on a daily basis; there is no place I’d rather be!
