We all have something to teach

In connection with the Upper School science curriculum and with the support of a staffulty advisor, Crane’s composting program is completely student run. Sixth Grade studies the composting process and guides other students in distinguishing which items in their lunch are compostable. Compost collection units are located throughout the campus. They are gathered and transported by the students to our active processing hot-bed compost collection unit which also serves as on-campus field trip destination for our Kindergarten and First Grade science classes.
