Upper School Classrooms
Upper School (6-8)
In the Upper School, students work in departmentalized classes and pursue a stimulating curriculum in the five major subject areas of English, Math, History, Science and Spanish, as well as in Athletics and the Visual and Performing Arts. Each student also utilizes the computer lab and the library as integral parts of his or her academic program.
Learning is active. In small classes, students participate in discussion, inquiry, analysis, and hands-on learning. They learn to express themselves clearly in writing and speech, solve problems, develop good study habits, and gain confidence in their own academic abilities.
