Crane Country Day School Established 1928

Tuition Assistance

We strive to be financially accessible to families from a wide range of backgrounds. While we believe that the primary responsibility for financing education rests with the family, Crane recognizes that some families may have difficulty funding the full tuition. Approximately 25% of our students receive a financial assistance grant.

Tuition assistance is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need. A student must first be admitted to Crane to be eligible for tuition assistance. We offer an easy and accessible financial assistance application process through School and Student Services by NAIS. Families complete a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) online and submit a copy of their most recent federal tax return including all schedules and W-2s.

The general timeline for applying for financial assistance for prospective families is:

February 14, 2024: Prospective student deadline for completing PFS (Parents' Financial Statement Form) and submitting required documentation.

March 8, 2024: Tuition assistance award notifications are available.
