Please do not hesitate to call or email. We enjoy getting to know your family throughout the admissions process, and hope you have a good experience working with Crane’s Admissions Team.Director of Admission: Erin Guerra (As a former student it is a thrill to return to Crane after a 30-year hiatus to manage admissions in the school where I discovered the joy of learning. For the past 8 years, I lived in Austin, Texas and most recently served as the Director of Admission and Financial Aid for a JK-8 independent school. I earned my B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York and worked briefly as a publicist for a book publisher in Manhattan before beginning my career in admissions at Laguna Blanca School in 1998. I am enjoying re-connecting with many beloved Crane traditions and exploring the new innovations including expanded facilities and an enhanced technology program. I consider it a privilege to introduce families to the world of Crane where learning is challenging, creative, expansive, joyous, and full of wonder. Away from Crane, I am busy caring for my two and a half year old daughter, Fiona, and enjoy spending time with my family.
Associate Director of Admission: Julia Davis (After graduating from Westmont College, and teaching Spanish at a local private school, I found myself at Crane in 2008. I love working in Admissions, because it gives me the opportunity to share this unique school with inquiring families. Since joining the “staffulty” at Crane, I have been able to participate in all aspects of the Crane community. From chaperoning trip week, to teaching discoveries, to leading workshops in Spring Study Week and coaching boys' and girls' basketball, I love that Crane encourages me to go beyond my “job description.” I enjoy getting involved, so I can give first hand experience to the prospective families I talk to every day. I am thrilled to be a part of the Admissions team at this fabulous school!
