Crane's fourth, fifth and sixth graders participated in the Santa Barbara County Math Super Bowl today. Both the Fifth and Sixth Grade teams came in first place in the building division!!
The teams were challenged to build the tallest self-standing tower out of three sheets of paper, a paper clip, and a yard of tape. Their strategy was a combination of dividing the paper equally and rolling it up.
The Fifth Grade tower reached 6' 2.5" and the Sixth Grade tower reached 6' 3".
Congratulations to 5th graders: Dylan, John, Natasha, and Owen, and 6th graders: Alexander, Jack Porter, Mason, and Tyler!
