Renowned high-altitude mountaineer, Ed Viesturs, shared his experiences with the Crane community at Wednesday morning's assembly.  Viesturs is the only American climber to successfully reach the summits of all the world’s 14 8,000-meter peaks, without the use of oxygen!  His intuition and cautious approach have made Viesturs one of the most successful Himalayan climbers in American history. He has completed 29 Himalayan expeditions, including reaching the summit Everest seven times.

"One step at a time," was Viesturs' message to the students about how to tackle tough challenges.  Viesturs inspired the children to follow their passions and not be afraid to pursue their dreams.  Thank you to Theo's family for sharing Ed Viesturs with Crane!
